He was predeceased by: his former wife Faye Belle Jolly Lackey; his son Richard Lynn Lackey; his daughter-in-law Tayne Hefner Lackey; Faye Belle Jolly Lackey. He is survived by: his wife Donnie Church Lackey; his children, Mark Lackey (Angie) of Taylorsville, Karen Thomas (Jeff) of Sparta and Greg Lackey of Taylorsville; his stepsons, Terry Church of Stony Point and Mike Church (Roxanne) of Chicago; and his brother Grover Lackey of Statesville. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, and seventeen great-grandchildren.
