With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Howard McGuire of Sugar Grove, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 17, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James McGuire and Martha Rominger McGuire. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Hicks McGuire of Sugar Grove; his children, Donna Sue Reese of Boone, Timothy McGuire (Debbie) of Boone, Thomas Howard McGuire of Raleigh, Bradley McGuire of Rockingham and Jack McGuire of Tennessee; and his grandchildren, Scott McGuire, Hanna Reese, Brant Reese, Shane McGuire and Dana Smith. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
