With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Benny Sharpe Southard of Summerfield, North Carolina, born in Rockingham, North Carolina, who passed away on January 24, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, William Henry and Mildred Sharpe Southard; his sister Betty Isley; and his daughter-in-law Sarah Southard. He is survived by : his sisters, Rachel McDonald and Erma Ruiz of Summerfield; his children, Mike (Sandra), Kent and Marian Lovelace (Michael); and his grandchildren, Andrew (Maria), Daniel, Jacob, Alex, Kate, Rachel, Nick, Jackson and Carrington. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
