She was predeceased by : her parents, Gilbert Lee and Nannie Roberts Collins; her husband Billy Walker; and her siblings, G. L. Collins, Debra Faye Collins, Brenda Kay Ware, Jean Collins Ross and Margaret Collins Pruitt. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one sister.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Wilkerson Funeral Home (1909 Richardson Dr, Reidsville, NC 27320). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Maple Lawn Baptist Church (5401 NC-65, Reidsville, NC 27320).
