She was predeceased by : her father Dillard Carter; her husband Aubrey Eugene James; and her siblings, Linda, Betty, Shirley, Wayne, Paul and Billy.
She is survived by : her children, Aubrey James, Jr. of Summerfield, Frankie James (Lisa) of Stokesdale and Kathleen James (Sammy) of Summerfield; her siblings, Tommy, Bobby Carter and Becky Shaffer; her grandchildren, Matthew James (Monica), Stephanie James (Don), Robyn Watkins (Joshua), Troy Bridges and Brandon Hudson (Sasha); and her great grandchildren, Emma Watkins, Eli Watkins, Hudson James, Rowan James, Ben Sanderford, Emily Sanderford, Caroline Sanderford, Aden Hudson and Avery Hudson.
