He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Dixon and Beatrice Dixon; his former wife Garlene Everette Dixon; and his wife Betty Harmon-Dixon. He is survived by: his daughters, Rena Walker (Ken) and Stephanie Truell (Tom); his grandchildren, Maghon Taylor (Chris), Clint Walker (Alyson) and Kasey Helms (Tyler); his brothers, Jerry Dixon (Pat) and Steve Dixon (Marie); his stepdaughters, Gina Stephens (Keith) and Jan Denny (Wayne); and his stepgrandchildren, Andrew Stephens, Erin Phillips (Jack), Jared Stephens (Sydney), Caroline Denny and Landon Denny. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren, with another great-grandchild.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Glencoe United Methodist Church (601 Glencoe Church Loop, Summerfield, NC 27358).
