William Wallace Spangler Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Wallace Spangler of Summerfield, North Carolina, who passed away on December 6, 2025 at the age of 97. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of William Wallace Spangler to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dudley Singleton Spangler and Mary Josephine Spangler; his sisters, Margie Spangler Cartwright and Bernice Spangler Irvin; and his half-sister Nellie Gray Wheeler.
He is survived by: his wife Arlene S. Ray-Spangler; his children, Empress Darlene Spangler, Deborah Lanette Spangler, Kelly Spangler Boone, Mark Alan Spangler, William Wallace Spangler, Jr. and Mylena Rae Spangler; and his pet Annie. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Christ Wesleyan Church (2400 S Holden Rd, Greensboro, NC 27407). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to the Howard Coble Center for.
