He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Robert Humes, Jr. (Debra) and Kathleen Sack Humes; his significant other Lisa Rowe; his son Michael Humes (Vicky); his grandson T. J. Humes; his grandparents, Jean Humes, Harvey, Betty Sack and John Robert Humes, Sr.; his uncle Jeff Humes; and his pet Greg.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 18th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the River of Life Baptist Church (8411 Ocean Hwy W, Sunset Beach, NC 28468). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 18th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. During covid, Greg was fortunate that his cancer went into remission.
