It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James E. Hardy Jr. of Sunset Beach, North Carolina, who passed away on July 16, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James E. Hardy Jr. to pay them a last tribute.
He is survived by: his wife Jackie of Sunset Beach; his children, Eric Hardy of Leland, Lamarr Hardy of Leland, Mark Hardy of Supply and Ashley Hardy of Chicago, IL; his siblings, Earlene Cox (Maurice) of Southport, Alexander Hardie of Sunset Beach, Ronnie Hardie (Jeanette) of Goldsboro, Jim Hardy (Kyna) of Supply and Anthony Hardie (Melissa) of Atlanta, GA; and his brother-in-law Charles Simmons of Supply. He is also survived by 7 nieces; 5 nephews and innumerable cousins and friends.
Viewing will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Brunswick Funeral Service - Shallotte (5229 Ocean Hwy W, Shallotte, NC 28470). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Ocean View Missionary Baptist Church (45 Headquarters Rd, Sunset Beach, NC 28468).
