In loving memory of Joanne Larkin of Sunset Beach, North Carolina, who departed this world on June 10, 2025 at the age of 77. Joanne leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. In the sacred silence of farewell, Joanne is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Joanne's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Sullivan and Marion Bernoskie Sullivan. She is survived by: her children, Carey Jennifer Wacker, Tatiana and Dutch Wacker of Hanover; her brothers, Peter Sullivan (Janet) of Raleigh, NC and Michael Sullivan (Faith) of Norton Ma; and also Maureen Gatto.

A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Brendan Catholic Church (5101 Ocean Hwy W, Shallotte, NC 28470). A burial will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 10:45 AM. A reception will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Brendan's Hall.

Donations in her memory may be made to American Belgian Malinois Rescue, in care of ABMR, Inc., PO Box 52, Amherst Junction, WI 54407. Also, the family encourages in kind donation in Jody's memory to Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Hospice, 955 Mercy Lane SE, Bolivia, NC 28422.
