He was predeceased by: his parents, Zetta Mayberry (Patterson) and Floyd L. Mayberry; and his siblings, Floyd L. Mayberry, Jr., Suzanne Costner and Martha Sharpe.
He is survived by: his brother-in-law Ronnie Sharpe; his sibling's children, Theresa Cline, Brenda Mayberry and Dale Mayberry; and his friend Jerlene McLemore.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Calabash Presbyterian Church (8820 Old Georgetown Rd SW, Sunset Beach, NC 28468).
