He is survived by: his wife Polly VanSteen; his children, David VanSteen of Supply, Shelly Whaley (Neal) of Shallotte, Donnie VanSteen (Lori) of Berrien Springs, Michigan and Mina VanSteen of Supply; and his grandchildren, Mitchell of William, J. T., Ryan, Dalton, Clay, Hannah and Arian. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
