She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Edward Capps and Eula Mae Hall Capps; her husband Allen Stewart Dowdy, Sr.; and her siblings, Leonard Hall, Clarence Capps, Judy Capps and Kenneth Capps.
She is survived by: her children, Allen S. Dowdy, Jr. (Heather) of Stanfield and Kim D. Matthews (Raymond) of Supply; her grandchildren, Ty Dowdy, Josh Daniel, Kristie Edmonds and Chase Matthews; and her great grandchildren, Madyson Daniel, Ryan Daniel, Landon Oldham, Adalyn Matthews, Kynslee Matthews and Waylon Matthews.
A burial will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Buffalo Cemetery.
