He was predeceased by: his parent Mary Sue; and his grandson Patrick Fennigan. He is survived by: his wife Patsy Cole; his brother Claude Cole (Ann) of Whitsett; and his children, Buffie Marie Nuckols (Gary) of Wendell, Janet Marie Foskett (Steve), Mindy Sue McCandless (Randy) of Supply, Robert Shane Cole of Daytona Beach, FL and James Travis Cole of Minneapolis, MN. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, as well as eight great-grandchildren.
