He was predeceased by: his parents, James Albert and Elizabeth Grissett Chestnut. He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Patty" Chestnut of Supply; his children, Alexander "Alex" Chestnut of Supply, Tracy Hall (Miles) of Leland and Tamara Chestnut of Supply; his brothers, Christopher Chestnut (Teresa) of Sumter, SC and Paul Chestnut (Wendy) of Raeford, NC; his stepsiblings, John Somerindyke (Elizabeth) of Fayetteville, NC and Jennifer Coleman (Tony) of Columbia, SC; and his grandchildren, Sullivan Hall, Grant Hall, Juliet Hall and Millie Kate Hall.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at the White Funeral Service Bolivia Chapel (603 Ocean Hwy E, Bolivia, NC 28422).
