He is survived by: his wife Melinda M. Hinman of Supply, NC; his son Michael Hinman of Raeford; his son-in-law Terry Walters of Raeford; his stepdaughter Tiffany Shivar of Wilmington; his son-in-law Ed Shivar of Wilmington; and his grandson William (Vance Shivar).
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 12:00 PM at the First Church (2813 Cumberland Rd, Fayetteville, NC 28306).
