He is survived by: his spouse Kim Murphy; his children, Ryan Murphy (Kaitlin) of Alexandria, VA and Katie Rettinger (Rick) of Chatsworth, NJ.; his grandchildren, Miles and Piper Murphy; his sister Christine Murphy Richardson (Jack) of Richmond, VA; and his sisters-in-law, Debbie DiPaolo (late Glenn), Jill Houck and Mary Bakey (Paul). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
