He is survived by: his father Theodore Stephens (Betty Lou); his son Andrew Stephens; his sisters, Lynn Stephens, Karen Stephens Harris-Stanley (Jim), Susan "Sue" Stephens Prange (Scott) and Fran Baker (Lauren); and his pet Captain Jack. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A memorial gathering was held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Pine Valley Baptist Church (3940 Shipyard Blvd, Wilmington, NC 28403). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
