He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert C. Brown and Glyndal Tew Brown; and his wife Joyce A. Brown. He is survived by: his son Charles Anthony Brown (Julie Brown) of Wilmington; his grandchildren, Brittany Brown Pigford (Carter James Pigford) of Wilmington and Charles Cameron Brown of Wilmington; his great grandchildren, Rylee Anne Pigford and Taylor James Pigford; and his brothers, James Brown (Julie) of Surf City and Danny Brown (Janette) of Fayetteville.
