He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Walter, Betty Carter, Eugene and Mary Rosser. He is survived by: his parents, Winslow L. Carter and Harriet Rosser Carter of Swannanoa; his sister Emily Carter (Tom Rodeck) of Candler, NC; his nephews, Lucas and Max Dodson of Candler; and his aunts and uncles, James Carter (Jan) of Jacksonville, NC, Donald Carter (Jeanne) of Merry Hill, NC, Addie Carter Davenport (Buck) of Raleigh, NC, Connie Rosser Riddle of Apex, NC and Peggy Rosser Mann (Chuck) of Sanford, NC. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 10:30 AM. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at the Valley Hope Presbyterian (115 Rockdale Ave, Swannanoa, NC 28778).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Andrew's honor to Valley Hope Presbyterian Church Celebrate Recovery of Asheville and YMCA in your respective community.
