It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bernice D. Spencer of Swannanoa, North Carolina, who passed away on September 6, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, John Daugherty and Elsie Lytle Daugherty; her husband Napoleon Spencer; her siblings, Fawn Harbison, Evelyn Scott, Bobby and Wilkin Daugherty; and her grandson Ricky Jones.

She is survived by : her children, Dan Alvin Daugherty, Dianne Smith (Donald), Rosella "Rosie" Palmisano, Venita Brown and Napoleon "Porky" Spencer. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; several great and great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
