He was predeceased by: his wife Linda; and his parents, Clota Norman and Henry Norman. He is survived by: his daughters, Sherri McRoberts (Chris), Terri Norman (Michael Clark) and Lauri Nichols (Barrett); and his grandchildren, Taylor, Madison, Dylan and Maxwell.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 9th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Valley Hope Church (115 Rockdale Ave, Swannanoa, NC 28778). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, March 9th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, March 9th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Western Carolina State Veteran's Cemetery (962 Old US Hwy 70, Black Mountain, NC 28711).
Memorial donations may be made to the Asheville Humane Society or a veterans' charity of one's choice.
