He is survived by: his children, Elvis Lynn McCurry (Becky) of Black Mountain, NC, Gary Edward Allison of Swannanoa, NC, Mike Allison (Lisa) of Old Fort, NC, Pamela A. Bogan (Richard) of Swannanoa, NC and Trisa A. Goldsmith (Mark) of Swannanoa, NC; his grandchildren, Jeffrey Lee Helton (Hillary) of Louisville, KY, Ashley Allison Stafford (Cain) of Bakersville, NC, Rev. Michael Daniel Helton of Swannanoa, NC, Justin Glenn Allison of Old Fort, NC, Richard Bogan Jr. (Kendall) of Mint Hill, NC, Amelia Ann Oliver (Nathan) of Asheville, NC and Ricky Ballew of Asheville, NC; and his son-in-law David Justice of Black Mountain, NC. He is also survived by two great granddaughters; and one great grandson.
