He is survived by : his children, Helen Martin Newbold (Mark Colbenson) of Cullowhee and Walker (Jessie Johnson-Tyas) of Arden, NC; his grandchildren, Blayze, Calvin and Alexis; his son Charles; and also, Eric Lacker of St. Petersburg, FL, William Newbold Lacker (Laurel Casillo), Katherine Martin Lacker of New York City, Frances Newbold Mohr (Karl) of Stone Mountain, GA and Rebecca Newbold Dion (Kyle) of Mars Hill, NC.
