He was predeceased by: his father Robert Joseph Reid; and his sister Wyda L. Barnes. He is survived by: his mother Veron Hubner of Swannanoa; his sister Tracy King of Swannanoa; his children, Brendan Reid, Liam Reid and Hayden Reid; his brother-in-law Joseph Woodby of Swannanoa; and his nieces and nephews, Connie Wallace of Swannanoa, Bristin Barnes (Ron) of Swannanoa, Robbie Carter of Weaverville, K. C, Carter (Genna) of Weaverville and Avery McKinney (Brittany) of Hendersonville. He is also survived by 11 great nieces and nephews.
