With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peggy Duncan Gant of Swannanoa, North Carolina, born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, who passed away on October 21, 2022 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Buford Duncan and Myrtle Duncan; her husband Thomas Riddley Gant; and her brothers, Sam, Carl, Joe and John Duncan.

She is survived by : her friends, Sweden, England, Ireland and Switzerland; her children, Dianne Gant Cook Lynch (Ray Bauman) of Hendersonville, NC, Susan Gant Cameron (Bill) of Swannanoa, NC and Roger Gant of Montreat, NC.; her grandchildren, Matt Cook (Jennifer), Josh Gant (Christine), Duncan Gant (Jennifer) and Carrie Cameron Robinson (Will); her great grandchildren, Parker, Hunter and Ben Cook; her grandchildren, Ellic, Blake Gant, Maddox and Murphy Gant; her brothers, Robert Duncan and David Duncan (Wanda); her brother-in-law Don Gant (Betty); and her children-in-law, Pat Gant and Jerry Cook.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Swannanoa First Baptist Church Senior Group or to the charity of your choice.
