He was predeceased by : his parents, Levi Olon Ward and Beverly Collins Ward; and his siblings, Michael Ward and Denise Rose. He is survived by : his godchildren, Alan of Cary, NC and Alissa Ward of Cary, NC; and his siblings, Linda Ammons (Rick) of Black Mountain, NC, Brenda Bartlett of Mooresboro, NC, Barbara Rozelle of Cary, NC, Connie Stahl (Barry) of Rougemont, NC, Jessie Ward of Cary, NC and David Ward (Karen) of Asheville, NC..

In lieu of flowers, the family requests any memorial contributions in Ronnie's memory be made to one of Asheville's animal rescue missions as he was a lover of cats and had rescued many through the years.
