With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wilma Williams Strickland of Swannanoa, North Carolina, who passed away on November 20, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Theo Williams and Vesti Williams; her siblings, Shirley Roper (Bill), Fred Williams (Betty), George Williams (Lois) and Delmar Williams (Dot); and her granddaughter Catherine Brantley.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sherry Love (Johnny), Pat Massey (Foster), Wanda Kiser (Steve) and Carolyn Glovier; and her siblings, Thelma Dotson, Faye Hall and Raymond Williams (Teensie). She is also survived by ten grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mountain Ridge Wellness Center, Activity Department, 611 Old US Hwy 70 E, Black Mountain, NC 28711.
