He is survived by: his mother Eva Foster Daniel of Swansboro; his children, Dustin Daniel (Allison) of McDaniels, KY, Nick Daniel of Asheboro, NC, Krystal D. Kettler (Eddie) of Crestwood, KY and Amber Daniel of Greensboro, NC; and his sister Sherri D. Buckley of Louisville, KY.. He is also survived by six grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
