She is survived by: her sons, Rodrick William Penley of Rock Hill, SC and Richard Allen Penley (Amy) of Burgaw, NC; her grandchildren, Andrew, Matthew (Brooke), Rylan, Jodi, Millie and Austin; her nephews, Fernando and Carlos; and her niece Marie (Ana).
The inurnment was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery (110 Montford Landing Rd, Jacksonville, NC 28540).
