He was predeceased by : his parents, John Licko and Mary Lettrich Licko; his son John Licko; his stepson Steve Guthrie; his granddaughter Sarah Beth Licko; and his former life partner Floie Licko.
He is survived by : his wife Mary Sandefur Licko; his son Benjamin S. Licko (Gay) of Swansboro; his grandchildren, Jennifer Carrere, Stephanie Matthews and Jonathan Licko; and his great grandchildren, A. J., Luca and Kaylee. He is also survived by his family and his many friends.
