She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Moore and Gladys Rochelle Moore. She is survived by: her husband Robert Carpenter, Jr.; her sons, R. L. Carpenter, III (Madelyn) and Ross Beamer (Courtney); her grandchildren, Grayson and Amelia; and her siblings, Donna Inners, Charles Moore and Judith Stone.
