He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Stoner and Mary Farley Stoner; and his son Leonard Peirce. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Bagwell Stoner; his children, Marty Stoner (Elaine) of Sanford, Angie Johnson (Phillip) of Huntington, WV and Scott Stoner (Vickie Brickhouse) of Bogue; and his sister Shirley Musgrave of Huntington, WV.. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and twenty-three great grandchildren.
