Debora Kay McCormack Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 26, 2025, at the age of 66, Debora Kay McCormack of Swansboro, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Debora had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Debora may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Brantner and Marlys Maxwell Brantner. She is survived by: her husband Gary McCormack; her son Jacob McCormack (Nikole) of Hubert; and her sisters, Barb Pohlkamp of Groton, SD, Nancy Torba of Apple Valley, MN and Kathy King. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Centerview Baptist Church (1165 Piney Green Rd, Jacksonville, NC 28546). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location.
