He is survived by: his wife Rosa Gray Morris; his children, Lisa Robinson (Bruce) of Swansboro and Victor Morris (Teresa) of Kinston; his grandchildren, Jordan Duncan (Alison) of Mooresville and Victoria Cannon (Justin) of Oak City; his great grandchildren, Parker Duncan and Hudson Cannon; and his siblings, Sybil McCoy of Madison, WV, Annie Arnold of Concord, James "Hay" Morris of Stella and Fenner Morris of Bridgeton.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the ECU Pirate Club, UNC Rams Club, Davidson College (Davidson Trust), or Lenoir Community College (LCC Foundation/Nursing).
