It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald William Gergely of Swansboro, North Carolina, born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, who passed away on January 20, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gus Gergely and Margaret Gergely; and his former wife Florence Gergely. He is survived by: his wife Diane Gergely; his children, Teresa Hagerty and Dennis Gergely; and his stepchildren, Kristine Parsons, Brian Parsons and Sara Campbell. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, nine step-grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and one step-great-grandchild.
