She was predeceased by : her parents, Jack W. Read and Doris Brown Read. She is survived by : her children, Jane Taylor, Beth Cotton of Durham and John Cotton (Linda) of Stella; and her grandsons, Mark Hayes of Jacksonville and Travis Cotton (Kelly) of Hope Mills. She is also survived by three great grandchildren.
