He was predeceased by: his parents, William Norris and Goldie Regina Walsh Smith. He is survived by: his wife Urte Mentges Smith; his children, Michael Brien Smith (Nellie) of Bailey, David Smith (Tracey) of Mt. Pleasant, PA and Suzanne McNeely (Troy) of Bartlett, TN; his grandchildren, Brien Smith (Lauren), Matthew Smith (Megan), Katie Smith, Gage Smith, Erika McNeely, Shannon McNeely and Jacob McNeely; his great grandchildren, Jeffrey Smith, Joshua Smith, Willow Smith, Porter Smith, Piper McNeely, Jayden Brown, Cazlyn Brown and Elijah Brown; and his sisters, Nancy Koziak of Wendell, Linda Summa of Wendell and Kathy Page (Ray) of Wendell.
