With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Elliott Teddy Marlowe of Swansboro, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 9, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Elliott farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Elliott is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Marlowe and Kate Drew Marlowe; and his grandson Grayson Blackmon. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Staples; his daughter Cayce Blackmon (Keith) of Marion, SC; his grandchildren, Jamison and Kaleigh; his siblings, Frankie Marlowe (Sherry) and Frances Altman (Glenn) of Marion, SC; and his siblings' children, Iris and Jason.
