It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Everett Long III (Swansboro, North Carolina), born in Salisbury, Maryland, who passed away on April 26, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Long, Jr. and Helen Morris Long; and his sister Barbara Schulze. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Waskey Long; his daughters, Allison Gale (Tom) of Wilmington and Krista Jones (Taylor) of Winnabow; and his grandchildren, Laura, Finley, Christian and Riley.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to North Carolina Shell Club Scholarship Fund (Karlynn Morgan, North Carolina Shell Club, 3098 Shannon Drive, Winston-Salem, NC 27106) or to the charity of one's choice.
