With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Dewey Willis of Swansboro, North Carolina, born in Staten Island, New York, who passed away on February 20, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Willis and Lucy Melcarski Willis. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Huben Willis; and his children, George Willis (Pat) of San Leon, TX, William Willis (Pauline) of Bronx, NY, Amy Murphy of Kingston, NY and Ellen Annunziata (Chuck) of Emerald Isle, NC. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
