He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Young and Loretta Young; and his in-laws, Gene and Hazel Hartman. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Hartman Young; his children, Stephen and Gene Young (Heather); his grandchildren, Mackenzie, Montgomery, Wyatt (Jillian) and Eli Young; his great grandchild Daisy; his brother Garland (Sue); and his close friend Gary Taylor (Sally). He is also survived by two nieces and two nephews along with many great nieces and nephews.
