It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathy Smallwood Thomas of Swansboro, North Carolina, who passed away on July 24, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Scott Smallwood and Cora Hunt Smallwood; her husband Bernie Thomas; and her brothers, John, Edward, Doc and Junior Smallwood.
She is survived by: her sisters, Pearl Gillette of Niceville, FL, Geraldine Phillips of Swansboro and Ruby Jean Phillips of Swansboro. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
