She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Hilsinger and Betty Lou Wiggins Hilsinger; her husband James Roland "Buddy" Pearce Sr.; her brother Robert Hilsinger; her nephew Lee Downey; and her grandson Zack Miller.
She is survived by: her siblings, Donna King (Andy) of Ecuador and Glen Hilsinger (Sherry) of Cape Carteret; her children, James R. Pearce Jr. of Swansboro, Tina Miller of Jacksonville and Tracy Conklin (Alan) of Charlotte; her grandchildren, Evan, Caroline, Laken, Emma, Matthew and Gabrielle; and her great grandchildren, Lilly, Azalea, Raine, Asher and Penelope.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Crystal Coast Hospice House.
