It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marion Cecil Combs of Swansboro, North Carolina, born in Zionville, North Carolina, who passed away on October 18, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Lee and Molly Burkett Combs. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Morningstar Combs; his children, Lenora Combs of Hubert and Matt Combs (Kimberly) of Lynchburg; his grandchildren, Avery and Grayson Combs; and his siblings, Myrtle Mason of Anza, Martie Combs of Emerald Isle, Ernie and Upperco, MD. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
