She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Brandt and Mae Skaggs Armstrong; her husband Jarvis Porter "JC" Cummings, Jr.; and her sister Ginger Kornegay. She is survived by: her daughters, Nichole Avery and Jennifer Williams (Richard) of Hendersonville; and her grandchildren, Corey and Kiley Avery.
