He is survived by: his wife Barbara Thompson Smith; his daughter Donna Andrews (David) of New Orleans, LA; his granddaughter Drewe Apryl Andrews; and his siblings, Eugene Smith, Jr. of Kinston, Rex Smith (Linda) of Goldsboro and Elizabeth Ann Smith of Warsaw. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
