It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Joseph Weglinski Jr. of Swansboro, North Carolina, who passed away on May 27, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Joseph and Mary Nieselowski Weglinski; his sons, Walter Weglinski, III and Wayne Weglinski; and his sister Mary Koonz.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Weglinski of Hubert; his children, Wendy Gartner (Thomas) of Emerald Isle and Warren Weglinski (Nadine) of Wharton, NJ; his daughter-in-law Donna Weglinski of Lake Hopatcong, NJ; his grandchildren, Walter Weglinski, IV, Heather Dickson, Steve Weglinski, Nicholas Gartner, Alexandria Gartner and Jacqueline Gartner; his great grandchildren, Brandon, Autumn and Jaden; and his sister Dorothy.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Mildred Catholic Church (653 Old Hammock Rd, Swansboro, NC 28584).
