He was predeceased by: his parents, Nile Leroy and Lillian Bell Wells; and his sister Joanna Myers. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Stephens Wells; his children, Gena Cook-Jones (Richard) of Hubert, James Stephen Wells and Brandy Bello (Tony) of Newport; his grandchildren, Megan, Morgan, Chase, Corbin and Patrick; and his great grandchildren, Niles, Carson, Eli, Logan, Nathanel, Levi, Liah, Lily, Linc and Renly.
