We announce the death of Ada Cogdill Caldwell of Sylva, North Carolina, who passed away on June 6, 2026, at the age of 89. Ada will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Willie Cogdill and Ada Adams Cogdill; her husband Reverend Jack Wayne Caldwell, Sr.; and her siblings, Willie "Lou" Fisher, Betty Cogdill, Furman Cogdill, Gene Cogdill, Frank Cogdill and John Willie Cogdill, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Debbie Meaney (Danny) of Marion and Jack Caldwell (Amanda) of Waynesville; and her grandsons, Senior Airman Derek Meaney (Abby) and Ian Caldwell of Waynesville.
